During the birthday week, we set up camp in the bar and took a series of atmospheric photographs of the performers and portraits of the bar’s loyal customers; noting their comments about the bar’s incredible history and success. To record the occasion for prosperity, we produced a limited edition, hard-back book of images, complete with customers’ and performers’ memoirs and epigrams. The SIRA guys are great, said Simon and Sharon Colgan, owners of Blues Bar, The West Park Hotel in Harrogate, the Duck and Drake in Leeds and the Worlds End in Knaresborough. We use their images on our website, in advertising collateral and have purchased some of their photographs of the local area to adorn the walls of our hotel.
